Graphic Designer

Working for LTL Creative was my second experience in the industry, as a second-year practicum student. As a Graphic Designer at LTL Creative, the exclusive Ferrari dealership in Alberta, I played a pivotal role in elevating the brand image and promoting luxury vehicles. My responsibilities included creating visually stunning materials for various marketing channels such as making a series of social media posts for Ballstar (indoor sport simulator company), creating visually stunning billboard ads for Alfa Romeo, creating graphic materials for the LTL Creative website, and designing a print-ready brochure for Perfect Fit Extrusion.
Ballstar
Ballstar was getting ready to launch when I joined LTL Creative. My first task was to create a series of posts for their Instagram account to promote the company. The building wasn’t open yet so we couldn’t take any pictures which made us use royalty-free images from the internet to promote the Ballstar and its grand opening.
Alfa Romeo Billboard
I was very excited when I learned that I had to create an Alfa Romeo billboard as it was my first time designing something like that. I had to follow strict brand guidelines, but the choice of the picture and positioning of all elements was up to me. I learned a lot about the rules of designing a billboard from this assignment, as well as improved my communication between cross-functional teams. The billboard may also be seen on Heritage Dr SE, to this day.
Website Graphics
One of my tasks at LTL Creative was to design icons that represent service bundles for purchase on the website. Each bundle represented a level of service that the company would sell, from creating social media posts to full rebranding. All graphics had to be short but informative and one had to present the best value.
Perfect Fit Brochure
Creating a brochure ad was one of my final tasks at LTL Creative. I had to design a trifold brochure for a manufacturing company that specialized in extrusion. The main challenge was that I’ve never made a trifold brochure before and I didn’t know much about extrusion, so I had to do some research before getting started. In the end, the brochure turned out great and the company uses it to this day.
